Perhaps....but you said you can only see it in twilight and heavy overcast conditions only....and on both my NF's it would take a mid day summertime sunny day to completely black me out.
Look at the amt. of sunlight in the bottom right....so much it overwhelms the green in the leaves......but both do not matter because both the bottom right and top left parts of the image are several yds. in front of me just like everything else in the captured image. I am standing outside in my driveway with little to no shade around my position.
In my experience, the illumination is not daylight visible. I had the 1-4, and while it's an excellent optic, it didn't fill my needs for illumination.
I've only found four daylight visibles:
K-Dot, Short Dot, Z6i, TR24
I wish I could say I owned one. I have had a fair amount of trigger time with one belonging to a friend. It and the Z6i are on my ever growing list.
