Well the plan is to pick up the rifle wed. I contacted Mega and they said the ym nm works great in their mono uppers. So I guess I don't have to worry about fit? So it is between quality between the two. Help me decide!
Which benefit of each design is more important to you? The FailZero is a standard Milspec design with a surface treatment designed to improve reliabilty & maintenance.
The Young NM BCG is geared towards the premise that the tighter tolerances of their design will slightly improve the accuracy of the host weapon.
For me, reliabilty will always trump a marginal increase in accuracy.

Also, given the dramatically different shapes of the Geissele and the FZ hammers, I wouldn't think it's possible to mix and match at all.
Last I checked, they no longer do personal coating jobs, but it couldn't hurt to ask here.
Complication: Thanks for looking into that. I wasn't planning on mixing them up, just would not seem right.
To all. I contacted YM they said their bolts either come from Continental or FN, so they are to mil spec. He said their carriers use the mil spec steel as well.......
I'm not sure why this keeps popping up, so let me resolve the question of FZ staking. we hand staked at the start of production, then after a couple of hundred carriers were produced as such,
our MOMACKS commercial staker arrived. we have been using it ever since. we will re-stake any of the old stock for free. I might add that none of the hand staked keys have been reported as coming loose.
Scrambler.
Great Straight from the horses mouth, thanks scrambler:D
My next direct gas build will use a Fail Zero BCG.
I havent heard a single solitary negative thing about them.
