Stumbled on this last night. I believe this is the only 14.5" midlength from BCM that is cold hammer forged so far. You also get $200 toward training with EAG with purchase of the rifle.

And it has the Irish VFG - nice touch. ;)
That should be a great carbine - you going to pick one up?
Looks like it could be a great out of the box duty weapon, just add optic.
Coming with sling and light makes it stand out from most other SE carbines. It will be interested to see how this feels compared to shooting the current BCM middy that I carry for duty.
Kinda neat if you like most of the stuff it comes with. Otherwise you are buying a bunch of products you would end up changing out anyways.
Pricepoint?
You know what would be awesome? If BCM did with rifles what computer brands do with computers, where you could build a completely custom rifle.
First page asks you what barrel you want... it would list dozens of available barrels.
From there on, it goes through everything... that'd be AWESOME, and BCM could take over the AR market if they did so.
My only beef is that it has a pinned FH. Since I have to carry the 16" of metal, I would rather it be barrel and a little extra for FH.
