Sixell Innovations grip input
Anyone have any input on this item?
It looks like it would be beneficial when firing from an improvised firing position especially if it is a slick surface ie vehicle hood.... not to mention some extra grip while carrying your weapon.
I must admit that even though I had a vertical grip on my rail system I would 50% of the time revert to holding my Mag well when the situation required to fire my weapon from that "low profile position" and would also inadvertently grab my forestock just behind the vertical grip. i have long sense removed my vertical grip and gave it away.
Please let me know what you think.

the reason behind ...the reason why
BTW "Chris Costa" = High Speed Low Drag
Again...thank you all for the input.
The reason this item peaked my interest is I received some training last year from a 5 year Force Recon /15 year SF Medic friend that is good friends with the owner/has attended D.A.R.C. and as you can imagine has received ....a little bit of training.
Anyway....
he taught me a technique for shooting on a corner that implemented a movement of 1 inch ...that one inch opens up your field of fire to give you the edge on the bad guy.
when I was training with him in the sand pit on a just a 75-80 degree day ....sweat sweat and more sweat... train like you fight right? so ANY added grip to this portion of my weapon I feel is fairly "importante"
The thing is when using this technique you run the chance of exposing body parts so ... with just this technique a few of the things you are executing are:
being proficient shooting ambidextrous
switch opposite leg position while on corner
acquire target ...quickly
take aim ...quickly
and then use your bang bang finger.
with aaaaaall those things going on
I my humble ....Low speed ...High drag opinion..... keeping your dick beater as far away from the lead rain as possible will help insure you to stay in the fight.
A sucking hand wound (because all wounds suck) will effectively move your secondary weapon to your primary and in that case against the range of an AK.... you may as well be shooting spit wads.
my .2c ;)
update on Sixell never quit grip
First off I apologize for the Pic quality I cannot find my digital camera...so I had to use my phone.

anyway installed the Sixtell Grip today I have to say it does do what I had hoped for:
It adds just enough bulk to my magwell so when I am carrying it muzzle down on the magwell I dont have to apply the G. I. Joe Kung Fu grip and have my hand cramp... and is very grippy
also it does add a nice cushion to any vehicle sheet metal surface when I use an improvised shooting position allowing less "weapon skidding"
and lastly if I ever have to use the Magwell hold method it feels nice.
On a side note it is very good quality and made very well. NO "leftover seams" that you may sometimes see on cheaply manufactured rubber products.
And the fit is very good.
I hope this helps someone
