The included barrel nut would replace the one currently on your rifle, and the tube threads onto the new barrel nut. Or, acquire your parts, hit the Easy Button, and have a local smith install it for you while you shop, get gas for your car, or grab lunch. I imagine it wouldn't be too expensive to have a ff tube installed, nor would it take very long for a qualified person to do so.
