I use an ML2 and love it. I have a friend who got a Mil deal with LaRue on a T1 and a high mount. I used it and I liked my ML2 as much or more than the T1. I don't see a reason to upgrade, except to get a Larue mount!:moil:

Is a lower 1/3 cowitness too high? My Eotech had absolute cowitness and it seemed to work well. I feel like my cheek won't even be on the buttstock with this mount I got.
My upper has a ff rail with a folding BUIS so there is nothing in the way, even with absolute cowitness.
Did I screw up? Is a lower 1/3 cowitness mount comfortable?
I recently switched my ML2 from an ARMS co-witness mount to a Larue lower 1/3 mount. I had hesitated for a while over this decision as I did not know if I would like the ML2 mounted higher than it already was. Then I began to notice that I shot with my head higher and the red dot in the upper portion of the tube, at this point I pulled the trigger, so to speak, and went with the Larue 1/3 mount. It allows a more heads up shooting position which I much prefer to being "down in the tube". It is really your choice but I'm glad I switched.Quote:
