I have all my "needs" in the safe and am now looking to put together some "wants". I am looking for pics of a 13.7" barrel with a Noveske KX3 on it. Also with longer than 12" rails too, thanks.

13.7" with KX3, and a 13.8" rail. (not mine, taken from Calguns.net)

I think I read on ARF that a lot of people end up sending their 13.7s to ADCO to get the pig removed. A lot of shooters end up unhappy with the set up.
I bet it's heavy. But like I said, just a want, if if doesn't work I wont be without. Thanks for the pics!
I built one for a friend and he loves it. It functions well and it does weight a little more than most. He is running it as a "minimalist" set up, AimPoint H-1, MBUS, and Surefire G2 with a MagPul AFG. I went with a Carbine length gas tube over the standard Midlenght. I figure with the Pig it would be a good set up. So far he has put about 1000 rounds through it and has had no problems as of yet.

Here is a bad cell phone pic after I was finished. I cut the barrel to 13.8, added a Troy 13.5 rail and pinned a Noveske Pig.
I am actually thinking of doing one for myself.
that fighting gun is missing some BUISs:)
What does this set up weigh?
Some of our guys "got a hold of" some KX3s and decided to try them on our M4A1s...they were pretty happy with the performance (reduced flash and blast directed downrange) but not so happy with the weight.
There's only one currently still in use and it's on an M203 so it doesn't look so ridiculous.
I run that setup currently on my Spikes Custom, love it, as mentioned a little heavier than some of my other AR's, but shoots like a wicked little monster : )

13.7 with KX-3
DD 12.5 Omega FSP rail
Ive got this setup in 6.8 and really like it. On a standard lower the rifle was front heavy but it's currently riding on a lower with a UBR so it's just all heavy. It does shoot very well. It's kind of a wierd thing in my book as it's a good size but really , not short enough to give you the maneuverability of a SBR and not long enough to get the benefit of the increased velocity or midlength gas system of a longer rifle. Despite that, she's a keeper
Not too heavy, it actually is very well balanced. I bought this from a guy on gunbroker. It is a mega monolithic upper which is exactly what I planned to build myself.
I really want to get the handguard off (DD RIS II) for another build and replace this one with a DD Lite rail, but the pig is too expensive to hack up. Barrel was a WOA 14.5" mid length that I had chopped thru Rainier when I bought it. The recoil impulse is very light like my SR15 and it only likes heavy bullets, bolt wont lock back everytime after the last round fired with 55gr 5.56 but always cycles.

It's actually to make it easier to hit the button. Since in CA they can't have a standard mag release they use the "bullet button" where they use the tip of a bullet to release the mag. With the funnel it's a little quicker/easier to get the button to the right spot to drop the mag.
This is a 13.7" with a KX3 after I had them cut 3.2" out of the middle of the barrel.
