I would like to see this happen. After seeing some of your photos Stickman and a few that have popped up online I started talking with my brother about this setup. We both have BCM mid-length carbines. I have done a EAG and a Vickers' Tactical class with mine and have used it for many matches and there is not much I would change on it. It is set up almost exactly like the EAG BCM rifle to give you an idea of what it is.
*Some of this is going to echo what others have already brought up.
I no longer use a VFG and so there is only a light and my sling on the rail (I doubt I am going to hit the lottery and get a dbal on there). It is nice having the barrel free floated, but this is not necessary. A set of handguards is more affordable too. I also find myself gripping the rails right behind the front sight base and I would like to have the option to reach out further. This and setting my light where I want it could be accomplished with rifle length handguards. I don't like folding front sights, so a pinned front sight base is my preference and it is good to see that the micro gas block is pinned too.
I am all for it.
