I have heard mixed rumors, can you fax in 5320.20?
You can but you still must mail in the signed original and have it approved before departing your home state. In my experience it's just better to plan far in advance or have the date range for the entire year.
I mailed it as the lady who answered the phone said to do that. I doubt it will get approved in time for me to take it out of state for training but what can you do:sad:.
That is a good idea! Too bad I didn't think of it. Hell I don't even know if the Stamp will be here before I leave for class let alone having the 5320.20 approved, guess that means I might be taking the full back gun. I called last Friday and Anton told me I was approved THAT morning and not to expect the stamp to get mailed until sometime mid week (this week). So I sent the 5320.20 in before I had the stamp in hand even though it's approved because I was in a time crunch. Ident just email pics of my newly engraved LMT lower and it looks great. Recomend those guys in a heart beat!
I didn't realize that you didn't actually have the stamp in hand yet. Not too sure if that really matters in the long run. I think it took my last one about 7 days to get here after I was told it was approved.
Pending on the 5320.20! There might be hope after all!
I fax mine and I do not send them a signed original. They have all come back signed off by ATF NFA Branch. I have never had a problem. I was a little skeptical when a friend told me I could do it that way, but never had an issue.
