School Me On Brass Ejection Patern(s)
Rifle 1: BM [don't flame, I was dumb] 14.5" with pinned brake, BM BCG, Staked gas key, with BCM SOPMOD upgrade and little black rubber o-ring installed, H-buffer, shooting cheap ammo like Wolf and UMC
Brass/Steel cases fly @ 1 o'clock and land about 6' away.
Rifle 2: Self built 18" Noveske bbl, BCM BCG without black o-ring installed, H-Buffer, shooting B/H 75/68gr, Federal XM193 and Privi 75Gr.
Brass flies at 4 o'clock about 8'-10' away.
Could this be caused by differences in ammo pressures or timing due to gas port distances?
Just want to know for my own personal knowledge which would be considred more optimal/more correct than the other. Since I saw two distinct paterns the curiosity got the better of me and I had to post something.
Thanks A Lot!
