I can see telling someone that getting a tax stamp is no big deal. I get that. The paperwork takes ten minutes to fill out. I've done it half a dozen times myself and it's now about as exciting as sending in a warranty card. And you're right, I've never once been asked by anyone to show a copy of my tax stamp or whatever.
But to tell someone new to the NFA world that certain things that might be an issue if BATFE knew about them are not worth worrying about because the BATFE will never know about them -- seems odd at best.
I don't have any Title 1 lowers in my safe that are not married to Title 1 uppers. I don't loan out my NFA stuff to friends. I guess I'm just that guy.
