They are always trashing pistons on here, but don't pay any attention. Funny how you've heard many good things about LWRC, but every time you bring them up on here they start bashing them? Then they'll turn around and tell some guy how awesome his SCAR is. I think that Mega has a very good thing going on and I look forward to seeing more from them. Also, Addax Tactical has a new 12.5" piston upper coming out next month (supposed to be a good one) and PWS has some strong offerings...most notably the 7" Diablo which is a bad little monster. IMHO, I think pistons are the wave of the future, and think they definitely here to stay - plus, they'll just keep getting better.
If you like the look of the MI rail, then you should definitely check out Samson's new Evolution rail and read a bit about it. I think it would be great with an Adams Arms piston system, who everyone probably trashes on here, too. Adams has a really nice, simple system that's easy to take down and clean on the fly (and it has an adjustable gas system for Regular, Suppressed, and Off). Here's the Samson link:

The reviews are good on this one, the thermal bushing is genius, and I think Samson is a better company than MI (from experience). Good luck.
God Bless
