I sent Sheri an email last week, she replied monday saying
the question is, will you have to buy a complete weapon to get that lower :DQuote:
Hopefully in a month or so. We're still working on the details.
I suspect Rainier Arms will have the stripped lowers available before anyone else :agree:
The "N" prefix lower is going to be available first on a special NST rifle, next month.
Available on all our rifles in about two months.
Lowers when production is rolling and exceeds our rifle needs.
The 300 BLK is a separate project.
Very interested to get my hands on one of these. Like what I'm seeing in the pictures so far.
Truly wish it was an ambi lower as those lowers seem to offer the most innovation and function over "just another AR lower".
Having said that, this lower truly is the best looking "aftermarket" lower ever produced.
Its simplicity is absolutely awesome in its own right. No extra crap where it doesnt need to be, mirrors the stock looks perfectly yet offers a HUGE ass magwell to the end user without looking like a HUGE ass magwell.
Noveske, kudos guys, seriously well done although i really do wish it were ambi...
Just sayin... :)
Is the control layout the same as a standard lower?
Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Standard controls.
If we can agree that an AK is a viable weapon with poor ergos how incremental are the ambi controls on an AR?
I think it says a lot about the AR that we're asking for incremental "improvements".
Also, I think what most people really mean when they say "ambi" is "right side bolt catch/release". Would be nice to see if you guys could integrate the AXTS button/catch into the production lowers.
I will definitely need a couple of these... They look very nice.
Where are the pics

With DD no longer offering their stripped lowers, these will fill the niche for me I believe. There aren't a hell of a lot of options if you want forged, and a nice touch or two like the flared magazine well.
Nice. I'm interested, too.
The below Military Times link is functional, I think Rob put an extra character into his link. You can find additional images and information at that link as well.

Sorry, my post came out looking kind of anti Ambi controls. Not the intent, it's just something we were not looking to change yet.
Are these lowers billet?

Todd, I had sent a few, well quite a few, emails back and forth with Joel in planning my next rifle. Joel had said the matched uppers & lowers would be in stock next week.
Will these new style lowers be available as a matched set with an upper?
I didn't take it that way at all.
Here are a few more quick low quality trade show pictures.....

How would one of these match up to one of the MUR or VIS uppers? Not that "fit and finish" are terribly important to me, but a previous post just brought this to mind...thanks
Machined from forgings.

So, what are these going to sell for?
Todd, I talked to one of your staff a few days ago (not Sheri) and she said the FFLs won't be available until "summer." I took that to mean June-on.
I was pretty disappointed, but you're saying they may be available as soon as a few months perhaps?
I need three matched sets right now, no joke. :) There's no other cure for this drooling problem that just started.
I just about sent another Form 1 off in the mail until i saw these pics last week - I'm glad i waited, but I'm not sure I can wait until June or July. :(
Is there ANY possible way you can throw a finished lower onto the scale in x.x ounces?
They will all go on rifles at first. When there are more than we need for rifles we will be selling lowers.
I hope that's right. About an hour ago, I talked with someone at Noveske (not Joel or Sheri) who told me all of their matched uppers and lowers were going to distributors (she named three for me) and Noveske (nor Rainier) wouldn't have any for a "couple of months".
Those are not the "N" lower but our regular lower.
They look fantastic.
HMAC, what were the three distributors? I've been wanting to order one of the matched sets for a while...
These are amazing. You guys just killed any chance of me buying a billet lower in the future. I gotta say, IMO bullet markings would match your logo better than "SAFE & FIRE."
