The Workers in Wisconsin have the right to collective bargaining and the Governor only wants to restrict it to the right to negotiate wages in a contract and they are all pissy over that. Shit, bitches should be glad for what they got. I ain't got anything near even that but then again, my state is solvent and I will likely get all of my retirement too because of that.
BTW, my state is in the black and has been so for more than 15 years. Right now, in spite of this economy, we are running over 10% vacant and cannot find qualified applicants. Some positions are being posted three times before they are filled due to lack of applicants. Due to boomer retirements, it will likely get much worse. If you are qualified and would like a job with us, I can almost 100% guarentee you will get one.
Might not like where you work or like the pay but you will have a job.
