Buy a clone magnifier and a Larue flip mount if you want to go this route. The clone magnifier will probably run you around 50-75 dollars and then you will already have the best magnifier mount available anyways. If you don't like it, you will only be out 200 dollars (with resale value after) instead of 650. 2 cents worth

I'm not sure when we began branching out into dispensing configuration advice for Airsoft rifles, but that is pretty much the only application for which a ChiCom clone magnifier is well-suited.

A viable inexpensive option was the LaRue po'boy setup. Even with those, the light gathering properties among them was extremely variable (mine is great, one of my buddies got one that was terrible). However, they aren't selling them anymore.

Perhaps a Burris AR Tripler but I haven't heard too much about them either way.

Yup.

i checked out a burris and thought it looked good, but i dont have experience so i dont want to assume...what do you guys know about burris in general? is it good stuff or junk. i just dont know a lot about magnifiers.
