Yeah $3100 seems a bit high, but post some pics and let's take look.

I won't be too critical since you already have made the purchases, and such, but I have a few questions:
Any reason you went with the A.R.M.S. rail? It's pretty heavy, bulky, and expensive compared to some other rail systems available.
Based on your configuration, with the light, optic, upper, etc. it doesn't seem like you're trying to build a tack driver. Why go with a Les Bauer NM BCG?
The ARMS rail was an early purchase, but I don't regret it, it's a decent system. Yes, now I would do it different, but not any less expensive , I like the La Rue rails. You being "critical" couldn't mean less to me. I built what I wanted and regret nothing. It's an incredible rifle and I love it. I built it for me not you. weight is not a concern, I spend to much time working out to worry about ounces. I could run with this thing all day long.
:D
We are a critical bunch. :D
But in the end we do it to help. You made some decisions most of us would not but that isn't always a bad thing. I am more concerned with the prices you paid for some of the parts. Take this as trying to help you. This should have been about a $1900 gun. In the future you can use that part as a lesson to shop around more!
This smells like sour grapes to me. You were ripped off on parts plain and simple. If that price was in Pesos, I could understand. But Kwelz is right this is a sub 2000.00 priced firearm.
Second, so happy that you can "run all day" and don't worry about a few meager ounces. This is fine for a few hours on the range. But if you have ever had to hump a stick with a full load out for 12, 16, 20 hours. Those few ounces help. Less ounces add up to less pounds.
PS, grammar. You are using a double negative which means you actually do care.
Thanks for the advice guys,I'm well aware of my grammar. It sucks, I'm just a country boy doing the best with what God gave me.I like my gun and I know I probably could have paid less, but I didn't.I live and learn. Without getting into it I have humped 20 hour days, and I know my limits. I know we all have limits. You guys are great it's fun to see others opinions.:)
LOL, glad you can take the hacking with a grain of salt. Now you just need to build another one. Rifles get lonely without siblings to share the safe.:D
trappernana- I wish I could have an attitude like yours. You're humble enough about your gear to take in criticism like a champ. Even though you did pay a little too much for the whole set-up, glad you like it. Wish more people were like that. Live and learn brother...you'll learn a lot in the future. Train hard, train often
Thanks guys! I think an SBR is on the horizon. I'll do more homework and ask around alot more this time.Other points of view always help. Take care of yourselves and all of those around you.
At least you dint buy a bushmaster! But yeah some of those prices are a bit steep, for example I bought a recently released at the time A.R.M.S. rail (the #50 MCV, which is slim, and weighs 8.6oz) for $260, you paid almost double that for your rail, which even 3 years ago was outdated. Nothing wrong with the reliability of your parts, and in the end thats all that matters, but a few hours price searching may have cut the cost down by 1/3.
