I ran into the same thing with mine too. At first i thought it was a defect untill reading similiar replies. It really is tight! I also wish the leverr was on the other side. I just mounted it with the lever on the right side of the gun...so i can open the lever with my right (strong) hand in case the optic breaks and i have to get rid of it quick. I also perfer my optic towards the rear of my rail close to my buisQuote:

I like the ADM because of the amount of space that cams onto the rail. It doesn't grind into the upper reciever to hold it in place. The lever is hard to push in, but I like that. To pull it off (if I can't do it by hand) I use the sling and place it under the lever, push the locking piece in and pull on the loop of the sling. My Larue's were pretty tight as well, so I used the same technique. I know some folks like to able to ditch the optic (like an ACOG) quickly, so clearly, that is not my intent.
I have an ADM recon scope mount; I like it a lot, and get around the slightly too tight issue by using a strap or something when unmounting, as described above. The other good thing about ADM is the price - they are the lowest of the "Big Three", and can often be purchased on deal/bundled.
All that said, however....I now also have a Bobro, and for me, there is no going back. Bobro's locking lever is stellar - no adjustment, no fuss, easy on and easy off, locks up solid. A real quantifiable step ahead of the competition, IMO.

Yeah, good point about the mounting screws on the Bobro - the other pain in the ass bit is that there is one screw that you just cannot get to with a Torque screwdriver, so you have to best guess that one. I would also prefer more traditional top down screws.
Locking lever wise...don't think it needs another one, it is very solid as is.
As mentioned, can't really go wrong with any of the quality ones...they all just have their own little foibles.
