I had one several years ago. It was under the leapers brand. I used it on an Armalite M-15A2 for close up shots on a prairie dog shoot in Wyoming. It worked ok at first but after a day or two the mounting screws fell out and I lost one. Then the reticle disintigrated.
Carry handle mount options are limited. Although I found the Burris AR-332 to be a dissapointment after it was released, your application sounds closer to what it was intended for. You may want to take a look at it. It is a 3X with a dot in a circle reticle.

I have a Nikon 2-8x32 on a Leupold mount that I use occasionally. It fits tight and holds zero when removed and remounted. In a pinch I can see the iron sights through the mount.
