Damn Steve glad to see around these parts.
I got my M4-1000 for 500.00 plus state tax so it comes out to be 560.00 plus the stamp. I would check out what your dealer charges for a transfere to him if it is 50.00 give Mark at Polite Society a call (678) 662-9395, great guy, they have m4-1000 in stock. Now saying that if your dealer would try and take you to the cross by charging say 100.00 to do a transfer do yourself a favor look for another dealer. If you live in Florida these are some dealer of AAC cans. By the way there are better cans out there other than AAC but for the money I couldn't find one. No I don't work for AAC or any other company I just like AAC/ GMC trucks and my 1911 by Springfield.:)

This is why it's critical to try and have a live fire demo BEFORE you buy a suppressor.
Having heard my '06 M4-2000 shot side-by-side with a YHM Phantom, they were very very close to my, and everyone else's ears.
From what I recall, they even meter fairly closely...
ETA: Looking at Rob Silver's old testing, he had the YHM Phantom @ 134 dB suppressed and the M4-2000 @ 134.3 & 135.8. The M4-1000 is supposedly indentical in baffle design, so it stands to reason it would meter similarly...
In the end, it's what your ear likes that matters though. If you are happy with the M4-1000, then we're happy for you.
It's a really nice suppressor @ $500ish.
I just pulled those off of AAC web page, sorry for the confusion wanted the gentleman to realize that Florida has a large amount of dealers and should not limit himself to his local dealer if he is not a stocking dealer of the item he wants.
You don't even have to stick to Florida. A Form 3 between dealers can be done in quick time....
Find a suppressor you want in stock, if you can help it.
I often get suppressors sent in from out of state to save delivery time.
SHIVAN,
I have talked to a couple of dealers about that and have not had a good feeling. Spoke to one in Texas he said he would ship it to me but would have to charge me an extra 75.00 to do it, and my dealer was going to charge me 50.00. I told the guy in Texas he was on crack and to keep his can. Had one that told me that I would have to send the money to him to do a form 4 to my dealer, I asked him wasn't the can on a form 3 he said ya but to transfer it to my dealer it would go on a form 4. Said thank not so much. I don't deal with people who don't tell the truth. I think he just wanted to make an extra 200.00 of the kid. Because I know for a fact that it does not cost a thing to transfer dealer to dealer, it is just a paperwork drill.
I agree, keatsabn!
Finding ONE Class 3 dealer (or ffl for that matter) who doesn't have his head up his ass or who is willing to do anything extra without for a customer with out being nagged is hard.... let alone 2!
I hate bugging someone for a transfer... I know it's not the core of their business.
Wow, then we here in Virginia are blessed. All the Title II dealers I have come in contact with are great to deal with....
The out of state end of the deal is usually a "high volume" dealer who specializes.
At this point, you should try G&R Tactical first -- to test his new inventory of Title II stuff. :p
Failing there, I'd try Mark @ Polite Society, Harlan @ Frederick County Firearms, Steve @ ADCO, Henry @ Title II Arms, etc, etc, etc....
Must be! Some of the dealers in AZ are nice, but still Flakes! Many some are very questionable. The Armory here in AZ was the only positive dealer experience I've ever had, but they're now Scottsdale Gun Club, and I don't know if they still offer super service or what.
