Failure to feed - stumped!
I have been experiencing regular failures to feed with my rifle. I first chalked this up to bad ammo, but yesterday I experienced consistent FTF with new Federal Premium PowerShok.
The gun seems to be running ok with XM193 (don't know what manufacturer) but it seems to me it should be able to run the PowerShok. Before I replaced the DPMS barrel with the DD I had not had any problems, even with Russian ammo.
The rifle is an LMT upper with a Daniel Defense button-rifled barrel (gas port drilled to factory specs) Troy TRX, Troy gas block, Spike's heavy buffer. The BCG and lower are DPMS. I am using PMAGs.
When I fire the gun, the first round ejects. The second round either completely fails to feed or gets overridden by the bolt.
What should I be looking for?
