Being that I'm letting my dad keep one at his house until he gets too old to shoot it they will most likely be setup somewhat similar.
I have a SWFA 1-6x in a bobro mount for general use but plan on getting either a Leupy mk6 1-18x or March 3-24 for intermediate distance. Until then I have a Bushnell 4200 3-12x in a bobro that is in the spare parts bin.
Other then that, both will get:
ACS stocks, magpul pro front sight, KAC 600m rear. Mine will get a SD-E (thanks to you!) and the other will get a KAC trigger that currently resides in a SBR lower. Mine will get a SOCOM brake for use with my 762-rc. My father's will just sport a flash hider for use when he isn't using his Cyclone.
Both have 16" CL barrels but we may buy the 6.5 creed barrels. My range only has steel out to 637 yards so that may be overkill.
I love your idea of a 13.5" pinned barrel. That would be the heat with a Saker 7.62... but with a 9" blackout sbr, it would most likely just be redundant..... I wonder if you could get a 110gr. TAC - to stabilize in a 1/10 twist going 2,500+ fps. That would be an intriguing hog rifle.
