Sure...
I sent an e-mail to ever gun dealer in a thirty mile radius of my home and asked them each the same question: "What's the best you can do for me on price?"
The guy I went with offered me the best price.

I hope to see one of these locally before too long.
Hopefully it will prove itself to be a viable option in the 1911 market.
I bought the first(and only) one that my local dealer got in yesterday.
Took it down last night to clean and lube. I really like it so far. It's just what I like in a 1911. Hope to shoot it later today, and am pretty confident that I'll still be pleased, as the early reports on this piece have been very encouraging. I'll report back.

Just to note; I shot the SR1911 today and was very pleased indeed.
Fed all my 230 gr FMJ-TC handloads smooth as silk. Then fed it a bag of very old Silver-Tips with same perfect results. I also had a bag of PMC 230 gr hollowpoints that have a VERY wide mouth, and a very flat, very sharp profile. Feeding was still perfect, with one lone exception. One of those sharp mouth edges caught the edge of the barrel just right and it took a little bump to complete the chambering. My preferred carry load of 230 gr Golden Sabers should be very much good to go, with the almost "hardball" like profile that they sport. Each load was much more accurate than I am, and sadly, that's not saying much !
