LWRC M6A2 SPR. Quality gun?
So I went to a local gun shop here in NJ to see if they had any Saiga shotguns. They didn't but I did see these 2 LWRC rifles on the rack. One was an all black .308. The other was the m6a2 spr in 5.56. I asked to see the 5.56 and I was impressed. I'm not an expert on ARs but it looked to me like this thing was oozing quality and precision.
So instead of thinking I gotta sell an SKS and maybe something else to pay for a Saiga shotgun. I might be now be looking to sell an M1 Garand, a Colt match target hbar 20", and still maybe something else cause this thing had a price tag of $2,450. Is that a good price for this rifle and am I right in thinking that it is a high quality weapon? I think LWRC is one of the brands that is always talked about very positively on this website.
I went to the LWRC website and there's some info but not a whole lot. I do know it's a piston system rifle. I have a Colt mt6400c which I am very happy with but I did want to get a piston rifle.
One question I have is what would u usually use a rifle like this for? From the write up on the website it seems to be geared towards the LE/Military market? Is that right? Also, I usually shoot 55gr PMC and UMC ammo. Will it shoot that stuff reliably?
Thanks for your help.
