I totally agree with Pat on this,, if you want to clean your gun for 2 hrs every time you hit the range and fire 50 rds.. knock yourself out... but that is just pure stupid.... and I didn't just pick up an AR last month either...
I had 21 yrs of that mentality beat into me with Uncle Sugar... and now I know better.
I would rather have a better understanding of what's wearing and to be replacing it on a scheduled basis then just clean ..clean..clean and hope everything works...
Parts start wearing or you don't use enough lube and it makes no difference how clean your gun is.;)
