I know its been posted that this has been released. But has anybody obtained one or have any write up on the new Noveske 14.5 Mid Lengths. Wonder if the gas port is truly mid-length or some random spec.

I had one in 1/8 twist for about a year. Not sure about the "spec" Noveske uses on their the gasport, but it shot really smooth and ran like a sewing machine.
It is a very heavy profile barrel. I would like to see them come out with a lightweight version.
CHF barrel? Was under impression this is new for noveske
in 2011. For example no longer offering 14.5 in a carbine gassed length.
Standard mid length, what made you think it might be something different?
Todd, what is the gas port size on the 14.5" mid length? For that matter, the 10.5" as well if you have it handy.
I have two SR15's but really want a 4.5" with a FSB. I was going to get a BCM for it, but I have a loose Noveske lower that I want to mate a Noveske upper to, either the 10.5" or 14.5".
Another question about this and I can't tell from the website; if I have a 9" DD Lite rail I want to use on this upper, is that something I could send in and have you guys mount if I go the pinned muzzle device route or would I have to order the basic upper and do it myself?
Sorry if this is off topic, just some things I've been curious about for a while. Thanks in advance.

We don't publish gas port sizes, sorry. Our 10.5" is medium, designed for an H2 buffer. Our 14.5" mid is reliable with quality 223 pressure ammo with H or rifle buffer. I'd suggest the H2 if shooting only 5.56 pressure ammo.
We don't do custom builds so you would need the basic NFA then install your rail and pin.
Mr. Noveske, how come you do not do any 16" mid length barrels in steel?
