This is why you don't buy DPMS crap. (PIC)
I wish I knew more about DPMS when I SBR'd one of their lowers several years back. The ****ing pins walk out after two mags, locking the trigger group tight. This started a few months ago. **** you, DPMS. **** Bushmaster, too. My XM15-E2S lower does the same thing. I tried swapping the LPK pins with a new set, and apparently the holes are oversized. Yay. Looks like I'll have to get some KNS anti-walk pins now.
I can't wait for my KAC E3 lower to get here. Cant'. ****ing. Wait.
Is there something I could be doing wrong here? Am I overlooking something? The pins and springs are installed properly. I've checked several times.
On a positive note, the A5 stock assembly is KILLER. My rapid fire groups are dramatically smaller. It's a pretty remarkable difference. The stock plus a Battlecomp on my 11.5" BCM SBR is a GREAT combination.
