Send it to ADCO $30.00 to have it reamed to 5.56
Ok, I'll try and be as clear as I can. Your BM carbine is more than likely not a true 5.56, but rather .223. This is based not only on my observations but others as well.
If you inserted a .223 No Go gage and it failed then youneed to do something. In the military world when this happens you replace the barrel and recheck with the original bolt using a "FIELD" gage.
If it passes then you are good. If it fails then you replace the bolt and recheck it. It should pass.
But, since we are dealing with unknown variables here it's irrelevant. In any case if you failed with a No Go gage, then you need to replace the barrel. Or continue to shoot it until you have an issue.

This is only what I've heard. I haven't had this happen (though I've only tried XM193), so take it for what it's worth.
Look for gas staining on the case and popped primers. You'll know if a primer has popped because it'll generally get jammed somewhere that will cause a malfunction. Worst case is having a cartridge that is overcharged and having it blow up the case and possibly break the bolt.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
