Since everyone seems to love PMag & TMag pics.....
-
I'm diggin' the smoked ones - being able to see what's left inside is nice. Does the material seem any different in terms of flexibility/durability compared to the opaque models?
-
I really need to pick up a few of those bad boys.

The smoked TMags are a different material than the PMags. Yes, they are a bit more flexible, and not quite as "stiff" as the PMags. This has both pluses and minuses so its really a trade off. You can squeeze them with your hand at the top near the feed lips and they will flex a tad more than a PMag. This actually makes them a bit better in things like the infamous "pickup truck parking lot" test. :D They are able to absorb shock a little better. However, this does make the feed lips a bit more susceptible to issues, if they are left loaded for long periods and in hot sun for example. This just means that you need to make sure you use the provided snap on cover if your storing them loaded.

Not sure on when they'll be available. As for the name, I'd have to let Magpul answer that. I assume its due to TPD being involved with them. I think they wanted them for their AUG clone (AXR). Just guessing on my part though.

These "TMAG's" have been dangled in front of us for quite awhile now. What's the hold up on them?
Does the company making AUG look-alikes have an exclusive or something...

Couldnt tell you, as I wouldnt even have a guess. I dont think it should be much longer though, if I had to guess.

My guess is they wanted to make sure the material was G2G.
