That's a low price! Would have been all over that last year when I was buying my AR.
Whoa.
If you want a wake up call, search Gunbroker or Guns America for Bushmaster, RRA or Stag for comparable prices.
Remember to find comparable features and configurations, to include the fact that Bud's 6920s come with carry handle.

So what's the difference between the SP6920 and the LE6920? The details in Bud's says the stock is adjustable. I thought the sporter models had the adjustable look, but they were actually fixed. Any differences to note with these new SP models?
Same rifle, different rollmark. And with the 3% CC charge, it was actually $1010, but still...my store (sporting goods chain) has a M&P15 on the shelf for $1099. Lol.
Thanks. That's what I figured, but I guess they used to be neutered during the AWB. Great price.
At $981 (or around $1010 using a credit card), that's an absolute steal. That's cheaper than both GT Distributors ($995) and PSA ($1049).
Edit: Just noticed the free shipping as well. Must not buy...must not buy...
At those price points, there's no excuse for good-as.
And I just spent all my money on something else....... Damnit.
Grant, you really are a Godsend. Should be shooting you an email shortly for one of these. And honoring the price for cash when I use a card? I know I've said it before, but you are one of my favorites to deal with and refer people to.

If I hadn't bought one last night, I would take you up on that. I would much rather support G&R than Bud's Gun Shop, but it's done.
I really hope someone takes you up on this.
Grant do you happen to have any 6720s?
I will.
e-mail inbound.
Thanks!
Not for me. And I've never been a fan of the Stag rifles personally. Also, as this is me doing the spotting for the buddy who asked for my recommendations (which there was a thread up before, but I'm too lazy to link it here), I loved my 6920 until I sold it to fund the upcoming 300 BLK SBR from Todd and his crew. He said he knows Colt, he trusts the name even before I gave him my advice. His money, he wants the Pony, so I'm finding him the best deals. He will most likely be shooting grant an email to arrange the purchase sometime soon.
But yeah, thanks for the input, brother. I also recommended a little more money for the BCM Mod 2, but hey, it's his stick.

Well,
I'm in for one. Now you guys done got me all excited!
Hard to resist at this price.
Wow, that is hard to resist.
Thanks Grant, any idea on how long you will offer this price? I'm stuck working and will not be back to Texas for awhile.
How long will that price be around!? I don't need one but for that price as soon as I'm back I'll buy (hint hint... I'm back August 1st)
Yes, I was being sarcastic. In light of some of the recent posts we have had concerning Stag and the other loser brands, this price reduction/ sale was perfect timing.
Wait, someone has been advocating Stag? Here? Wow.
I've seen some of the Spikes love, and I just shake my damn head.
But seriously, for a guy's first carbine, BCM or Colt works, and I'm glad the SP6920 is priced as it is for him.

PS: Sorry my sarcasm detector is unsat. Sleep dep does that to me.
Bless you Grant. That is an awesome deal. How do we take advantage of this deal. Do we e-mail the Order in? Please let me know. Thanks.
Bud's is now out of stock; however they do have http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/29488
Better go with Grant.
Makes me wish I needed another AR.
Grant is awesome, and that is a good price. But it's boring to me as a hobby shooter.
If they'd sell a 16" mid length 1:7 for somewhere near that price, I'd buy one. Flame away but it's the honest truth. That is why BCM and Spikes and it's starting to look like PSA do what they do in my opinion.
It might also have something to do with my coming into AR's late in the game.
Wonder why it is they are so relatively cheap now though? Economics/production wise? Any insights?
