x2. I have one of the first 20 M6A2s and it's been flawless. I can't speak to the rifles that Lietner-Wise Rifle Co. produced though as mine was made by Land Warfare Resource Corporation.

I also have one of the M6A2 models made by Land Warfare Resource Corp. Functionally it has been flawless. It does have a rough chamber which leaves bright rings on my spent brass. I tried to polish the chamber with Flitz metal polish and it reduced some of the markings. I ran 4 boxes of PMC through it at a maderate pace, put it in the closet without cleaning it and ran a couple more boxes through it the next weekend. I haven't had any failure to extract/eject issues so I am happy.
Even a DPMS should be able to run a few boxes then a few more a couple weeks later. I never hear or have experienced these rifles doing anything that DI guns can't, plus the DI's are less expensive in most cases.
I'm glad your rifle works and it's not surprising that it does. But that has nothing to do with the rifle itself as pretty much any AR should be able to do that.
Hell, in the past 2 or 3 weeks I've put over 1,000 through my KAC without so much as wiping it down, 400 of that on a hunting trip. It's due for a good cleaning though as it stinks.
I see the value in the MRP system even if buying a piston as it's easily replaced. I see the value in many of the quality DI ARs as well as in the SCARs, just not in many other piston ARs, especially the LWRC.
my buddy has an lwrc m6a2 for his patrol rifle and we shot over the weekend and even he stated that "he could not believe how my $900 stag m8 shot just as good has his m6a2 and weighed less and was a fraction of the price" if im going to spend the kind of money lwrc is asking, i would rather have an sr15 DI gun. i just dont see how lwrc's piston system is better then my stags. im not trying to turn this into a pissing match! just giving my input
I would've gone with DI if you're going for lightweight. An LWRC M6-SL weighs 6.4 pounds while a Daniel Defense DDM4 v3 Lightweight weighs 6.3 pounds AND it has an Omega-x rail system instead of MOE hand guards.
Well no, 20 round boxes but I was checking to see if the chamber polishing had done anything. Granted, I have only 700 or so round of Rem. UMC, IMI 62gr. factory, PRI 55 gr. and a couple hundred more pmc rounds through this rifle but I am not complaining. I know, post back when I have 5000 rounds through the rifle and let everyone know if it is still in one piece!
