I'd leave the Blackout on!
IRC, I remember reading in another thread that soaking the break in water over night will loosen up Rocksett?
I don't have first hand experience, maybe someone else can back me up...
Edit: This thread should probably be moved to the technical or general forum...
I took one off my 10.5" Noveske. It was TIGHT, but come off with a little force.
A2 hider and battlecomp require a 3/4" wrench, I thought the AAC was the same. Having a vice and action block set helps a lot. Rocksett is the same thing as blue loctite but can handle higher temps
Silencer mounts are installed with Rocksett, so don't bother with the torch. It will give when enough torque is applied so use a good 22mm wrench.
Thanks for the good information todd. i will do that.
Summary of thread information added to the top. If anyone has any other good information they think should be added on the topic post it and I will update. :moil:
This is thread I was referring to:

A few people suggested the water method but the majority said that enough torque will work.
When I took my A2 flash hider off, I used a torch for about 20 seconds until it warmed up (We have to use this method at Honda on a few things.) and cracked it loose with the CORRECT wrench size. Do NOT use an adjustable wrench. The second time I changed a flash hider, I didn't even need to use a torch. I bought a cheap dpms tool to work on the upper receiver which had everything I needed. It cracked loose like butter since I had so much leverage.
The easiest method to remove a blackout that has been rocksett'ed on is to soak the end of the barrel with the comp in a cup of water overnight. Used it on several of mine and it works like a charm.
