Aimpoint Micro vs Aimpoint M4?

I went from an M4s to a 4moa T-1.

I like everything about the T-1 better including the 4moa dot.

Pros:
- Objective size doesn't matter with both eyes open. I think the smaller sight offers a less cluttered field of view.
- lighter
- smaller
- 4moa dot makes a lot of sense with the trajectory of a 5.56

Cons:
- I'll have to buy two batteries instead of one in the next decade.

Two questions regarding this:

1. Don't some say the dot on the Micro's is more likely to be disfigured if you have any sort of astigmatism?

2. How resistant are the Micro's lenses to scratching? I ask because most Comp Series Aimpoints have lens caps and the Micro doesn't.

I have a slight astygmatism and I think the bigger dot appears a little crisper than the 2moa one since I can usually run it with a little less brightness.

I never use lens covers on any of my Aimpoints, I just make sure I clean em with a soft cotton cloth and a good glass cleaner.
