Anyone have general tips for keeping a suppressed SBR running for the length of a 1-day carbine class? I've got what I feel is a quality build, with the heart being a DD barrel and BCG, but it gets really dirty even after a few mags at the range. Brass comes out filthy. The most rounds I've shot maybe 150 rounds through it in a single session, but we're talking 500+ rounds in a day-long class. The only stoppage I can really remember was after cleaning it, not lubing it at all and running it bone dry. It choked after a couple mags. Should I have some sort of aerosol CLP or gunblaster with me to hose it out, or is keeping the BCG wet with CLP through the ejection port going to be enough? I'd like to spend class time learning and shooting instead of worrying about a gunked up gun, so any advice is appreciated.
Also, any trouble keeping the can on that whole time? It's an AAC 762SD. I know it's gonna get hot and might have some finish damage by the end of the day, but I assume those cans can hold up to anything my DD pencil barrel will take. It's a beast without the can and 500 rounds unsuppressed would suck.
