Omega rail?

Is the rail slot with the screw in the front still usable as a mounting point?

The screws are counter sunk into the rail so they sit flush with the slot.

I understood that but I was asking why you switched as on page 2 of the pic thread you have 2 different guns set up with eo-techs on the rail. Wondering if you actually had problems or just trying to avoid them.

I run an EoTech on a LaRue 13.2. I have had tons of rounds through the gun, getting it really, really, hot and haven't experienced any problems. My only concern would be that the screw on the EoTech's integral mount could work itself loose, but I've never heard or seen it myself.

No problems so far, other than the fact that I can't remove the optic without the zero being messed up (I don't have a mount for it).
