    Army SDM

I have fired the Army SDM rifle many times, as my battle buddy and dismount is a sniper spottter, who's primary weapon is the SDM. He can not remember who makes the two stage trigger in this weapon. Does anyone out there happen to know who makes the two stage trigger the Army adopted in the SDM?

    M16A4 SDMR

If it's one of the 375 rifles the USAMU built for the 3rd Infantry Division in 2004-2005 it's a Knight's 2-stage.

There have been several separate lots built.

The AMU's internal-use school rifles should have Milazzo-Krieger 2-stage triggers.

Rifles provided by the Civilian Marksmanship Program have 2nd generation Armalite 2-stage National Match triggers.

The newest rifles may have the Geissele Automatics National Match or SDM trigger.

Does anyone have the NSN's for any of the match triggers packs used by the DoD?

I suspect the Armalite should have one.

Thanks, but that is not a 'real' NSN. It exists to collect 'demand history' when a GPC is used to make purchases but it is not centrally stocked by DLA.

In other words troops the field cannot just order it thru 'The System.'
