    3P-Z Light Saber

This Lego build is comprised of a 3P-size/Z-contour Oveready E35 body (great for cigar hold/Surefire-Rogers technique), a Malkoff E2XTD direct drive head (650 lumens, 70,000 candela), a Surefire Z41 "twisty" tailcap modified with a ZeroRez insert for maximum current transfer, powered by a Keepower 18500 2000mAh cell. The output of this light is virtually identical to the ModLite OKW, its tightly-focused beam has tremendous reach and is devastating to an assailant's low light adapted vision if applied directly to the eyes at typical personal defense distances. This high-intensity but short-runtime light is carried in addition to a more conventional flashlight for general illumination tasks.

With the modified Z41 tailcap backed-off a few degrees from constant-on, it also works extremely well as a momentary-only switch. There's enough play in the body/tailcap threads that the light can be easily controlled by simply squeezing in a cigar hold against the tension of the head spring.

AOL = 4.0 inches, weight = 4.4 ounces. Rides in a front pants pocket just fine, or on the belt in a Daranich Tactical Flashlight Carrier made for the Surefire Z2.

Since the AK-47 and I have the same official 'Born On' date I had to get this auto for my main EDC. The L1D is 10 years old.

    Pocket, Belt Dump

This is my pocket / belt dump, plus the MercWorx Equatorian Chili my wife got me for Christmas and Becker Necker that are normally in my EDC pack. It arrived four months late because at MercWorx deploying Warriors get priority service, as they should. When I got it, it was worth the wait. It is a thing of beauty. On my belt is a Gerber Center Drive in a steel Rae Gear Center Drive Sheath, a custom Damascus fixed blade (another Christmas present) has been my EDC for about 15 yrs, in a cross draw sheath. An XDs .45. In my pocket a Boker SubCom it’s my money clip. Has hair splitting sharp convex blade , reserved for cutting clothing & meat. Have to make some nice scales for it one of theses days and my BIC. In the other pocket I carry a near twenty year old Fenix PD20, that has served me well. A Fisher Space Pen and a pair of folding glasses for my old ass eyes. On my keychain is a Ken Onion, it’s my scalpel for precision cutting, splinters and such.
