I was just informed that Aervoe has killed off its manufacturing of military colors/ camo paint. Krylon has reportedly done the same. Its begining to look like we will need some other options, which fortunately there are, but if we look at going to stores, I think Rustoleum camo may be the last hope. Of course that is assuming they don't kill it as well.
    Stick

I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Rustoleum has been a bloodbath in line reduction the past several years, too. They used to be America's main supplier of hobby paints across the Testor, Model Master, Polly S and Floquil brands, but all except base Testor have been cut and even the Big T has been cut to half or less what it once was.

Aervoe was about my only hope for a specific Federal Standard gray, and with even them out of the game and FS16473 not even making their catalog that project's looking bleak.

Did you happen to catch their reason for killing off what had to be a good selling product? I can’t help but think politics had something to do with it…

Looking for a Railscales QDX sling mount in Terra Bronze. New or like new condition preferred, but I'd consider used in good condition.

Well that sucks. I will have to grab some additional cans while I can.

Thanks for the heads up Stick.

Speaking of grey...which one comes closest to Magpul Grey? I cant find a close match.

You might see if KG Gunkote has an air-cure version, assuming you're looking for a rattlecan. I know Duracoat has a Magpul Stealth Gray rattlecan but can't attest to color match--back in my modelbuilding days I relied on the recommendations of others with far sharper eyes than mine.
