    I use Safariland holsters. all of my holsters have the MLS plate which allows them to be mounted to molle or to a "receiver" plate, which can be attached to a belt, more molle, or in a stationary position like a desk or auto. this seems like it would work well for you.

    get the ALS model and you can deter someone who doesn't know the operation from accessing the firearm...
    never push a wrench...

    Some great ideas here. I have a feeling that my wife is going to soon be wondering why I am mounting magnets all over the house.

    The FAST holster works great but can be duplicated with magnets ordered on line or bought at home depot. I had a buddy who is a tailor wrap and stitch 3 magnets in heavy fabric with metal grommets so I could screw it in. You could also sew the back with velcro pretty easy if you can sew, I can't...

    Thanks for the recommendation on the FAST Holster. Going to look into that as an option.

    The thing that bothers me about the magnets is if there are children aound. The gun isn't secure, its just hidden.
