    Nighthawk recon frames-- cast or forged?

    I know where I can get a nice one but I want to know how th frame is made.

    They use the cast Caspian frame if you are referring to the frame that is used on the Vickers (the frame with integral magwell/plunger tube) etc...

    I have a Vickers Tactical and when I was thinking about purchasing one I contacted Larry Vickers and asked him about the Caspian cast frame. His exact words were " They are as tough as nails". They are good to go.

    The frames used on the Vickers guns were castings. The current frames used on the Recons, in fact all the Nighthawk frames are machined from forgings.
