Grew up shooting 1911's, turned 21 and bought my first one. I carry it during the fall/winter, summertime its the M&P with the certified flip flops. I like to think i look very un-assuming.

I carry my Kimber Custom II with WC mags. No issues here besides the handle poking my lower back from my IWB holster...

I have been carrying a 1911 for the last four years and im still under 30. Barely...
I started CCing with a 1911 but moved on to a Glock when it turned out both my 1911s (Kimbers, no surprise to me now) blew on a lot of different levels. I got a Glock 34 because I liked the size and length of the Government a lot and the 34 duplicates it almost exactly.
That being said, this was too funny to refuse after I read this in the OP's post.
For all the safety nazis out there, the Glock is in a IWB holster. Don't judge me for the beard and the wife beater, it was 108 here in Boise and I don't commission until December. You can't prove anything!

She does. And if I remember right she is well under 30, like 17.

I have carried one concealed since I was around 22 yrs old, not everytime though, I rotate between my glock 19 and it. I have noticed more and more that alot of the "young guns" have went to the 1911 platform recently. I am 34 yrs old but I took to the platform when I was in the Army and it will always be the one for me. They say it is the "true professionals" gun, I completely agree. I recieved amazing training on the platform back at Ft Bragg, and it is a gun that you need to maintain your training and mechanics on,in my opinion. I love my glocks but, it took me a long time to come around to them because I started out of the gate on the 1911, I carry a Springfiled Operator. I find myself carrying it more in the Fall/Winter/Spring when I wear jackets because I prefer to carring OSW. Summer time is Glock 19 IWB.
