    FNS-9

Hey guys, i got to handle about 12 of these last night. The pistol seems pretty promising, and for those that are wondering.. the trigger pull & reset feels very Glock-ish, it's definitely doesn't feel like a M&P stock trigger.

I wanted to jump on here and give a heads-up, to let you know that you should dry-fire them before buying though. Out of the 12 i was messing with, 2 were straight-up stinkers trigger wise (sticky feeling- maybe a clean & buff would help), the majority of them had descent feeling triggers, and yet there was one magical one in the batch that had a killer trigger.

The bore axis is slightly higher than the Glock. The ambi-mag release buttons are very easy to reach my my thumb too ( i have tiny thumbs, and cannot reach a Glock mag release without breaking my hold on the grip). It also has a nicely flared magwell... the steel mags shoot right out of the grip. The pistols that i messed with all had night sights, with a white outlined front sight, and a black outlined rear sight w/ a U-notch.

I like them, and might have to pick one up sometime. Check them out for yourself.

Its good to hear good thing about this pistol. No mater how small.

If it has good accuracy and holds up well to high round counts it will most likely replace my glock. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The one I handled the other day had a "magical" trigger as well, loved it and made me want to buy it on the spot.

OldGreg, if you work at the shop where you got to handle 12 of the FNS and you could pick me out the best one you felt, I'd be interesting in purchasing it if the price is reasonable. Thanks for your report.

That's a no-can do brother, sorry. If I'm right, I think G&R is an FN dealer, and I bet Grant would open a couple of boxes for you if he has any, and if you asked nicely.
