Just got off the phone with a certain Fed LE rep in Ashburn. I was told the 417's in 12" and 20" are currently available for agency purchase and the 16" isn't far off. I was quoted $2880 for the 12" and $2990 for the 16". Just figured I'd give you guys a heads up.

Two items on my dream list:
a 10.5" 416 and a 16" 417
I could pretty much replace everything except a couple of AK's with those two. Then again, I could always get an AK lower for a Masada...

Somebody touring the HK Germany factory took these HK417 photos very recently. It’s enough to get me drooling for the U.S. made Wilcox rifles.

It seems the HK417 is already seeing action with the Dutch SF.
Looks like they also bought HK416's.
Not to mention Turkey seems to have placed a very large order for the HK416.
