I'll try and help you out, but it will be after I get home.
If you need answer right now, I would assume that you can try calling/e-mailing HKparts.net.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
JHP's are good times, for bad people.
Here is a thread with some relevant info and a H&K rep is listed:

I Googled "oem front sight height of p2000" to get it. Hopefully the info is accurate.

Thanks guys! I saw the thread on HkPro but I found reference to an OEM height of 6.3mm. I measured mine with calipers and it was .148" or 3.76mm from the top of the slide to the highest part of the sight....??
I want to get a Dawson Precision Fiber optic front sight for it but their heights don't match my measurements or what I could find with google...

I always thought hk zeroed each pistol. Their catalogues always list tons of heights
If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.
6.3mm is the correct height of the entire sight, including the dovetail base.
AmeriGlo Sights
Front site hieghts vary as that is how you adjust the elevation for zeroing. Measure your sight then get one close to the same size, you should be good. You may need to experiment though.
Tall sight=lower impact
Short sight=higher impact
I like franks & beans
