Thanks. Small town, but Napa has them, but they don’t have black. Just silver.

I'm thinking of getting some Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Multi-Purpose Flat White spray paint this weekend and spraying some black Magpul base plates. I would then use this on black GEN3 PMAGs which are my training magazines.

I use windowed GEN2 FDE windowed PMAGs with a blue Magpul loop on my home defense/self defense magazines.

Coupled with this obvious color difference (both mag color and baseplate / loop color - I have my initials and mag number on each mag. Like others - this allows me to track both when I purchased the mags, but also the number of mag in case something happens during training/real life.

(Yeah, I have an Excel spreadsheet with each mag ID -- I've only owned an AR for 6 months so I trolled for some good techniques from this website).

I will post a couple photos this weekend. I was originally looking for Noveske stenciling - but only found the $50 tribute PMAGs. Anyone know where to get a stencil for them?

Paint pens can be picked up at welding stores, metal supply stores, or industrial supply stores such as grainger or fastenal.

Walmart or hobby lobby may have them.

I've gotten all my sharpie paint pens from Amazon. $11 for the 5 color set and you can't go wrong.
