You have to keep in mind that Colt is not used to this rail and does not use it on any other gun. So for me, it really isn't a Colt quality issue as it is either a rail issue or a lack of knowledge on it.
Because of these types of issues, I do not stock any of the "Talo exclusives."

I appreciate that and have specified that they make a quality product, my point is that it shouldn't matter if they are familiar or not with it. If its wrong then fix it quicker than 3-5 months. A company shouldn't put out something they are not familiar with. If it was resolved in a few weeks I wouldn't say anything. Grant don't take this the wrong way I have nothing but respect for you and all I have bought from you has been processed and shipped quickly and you are a great guy from what I read on here. This should be made right quickly. That's what great companies do, not put u off for 3-5 months
This is what i am talking about. I am not a moderator nor a respected poster so people assume that I know nothing of what I am talking about. I have been shooting ar's over 10 years and I know that isn't a lot compared to some people but I do know a magazine issue when I see one. My rifles lowers who both have come from you fully assembled BCM'S have run tens of thousands of rounds with no problem and still run all the other 27 magazines I have. I simple stated that they didn't seat on a closed bolt with out hitting it with a sledge hammer but that they did fine with bolt locked and inserted and then bolt release. And that they feed flawlessly. Then my post gets closed and then apparently deleted for saying that. It isn't helpful to not be able to comment on a product. I wasn't bashing them just letting others know I was having the some of the same issues as others.
That is something that wasn't said earlier and if that is the case then great I retract everything else I have said. I know nothing of their cs and this to me seemed like a long time to wait for them to fix their problem. Thanks for clarifying this as their common timeframe estimate and op send it off and let them fix it for you, don't Jerry rig with a firearm
It is VERY hard to tell on the net who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. While I like to think that someone with 10yrs of experience is going to be pretty knowledgeable, I meet to many folks with double this that I wouldn't allow to load my gun for me.
Not that the above applies to you, but you can certainly understand.
I looked up your thread and it appears you are in violation of rule #4. This forum (like all others) has rules that you have have to follow.
In regards to the Lancer AWM mags, I like and use them with no issues. I also use and like PMAG's. Not all mags work with all guns. So sometimes you have to pick and choose the one that works best with your gun.

If there quoted 3-5 months is Really 2-3 weeks I'll mail it out tomorrow. But I am not going to send it off for 5 months. And I am not happy about that time fame. But what can I do about it? I've talked to the dealer, distributed, and manufactor. Who else do I go to?
I like the rifle. Its set up pretty much how I wanted. I will clarify that I am not happy about the rail issue and colt gets a big negative in the CS department from me if I send it off and it's gone do 6 months.
If someone wants to send me there email I'll send em pics.

Sorry, I come from the world of long range. Forgive my ignorance.
My point exactly, I wasn't saying that they were junk nor was I Saying that I didn't like them, just giving a few issues. I didn't know I had to ask a manufacturer for permission to say i Didnt quite like something about their product. Isn't a forum a place to tell about what works and what doesn't work for people. I see some of the same issues expressed on here and yet I get infractions for this. It just seems like if you give a differing opinion on here you are treated like you know nothing about what you are talking about and they have the same thing and it works fine so it's you. You clearly say that you have no issues with them and some mags work in some guns and not in others. Precisely my observation. The fact that neither would seat in either top tier (bcm) rifle I own isn't a reflection of the mag, any more than the rifle. I digress, I hate all this got going like this simply over me having an opinion that wasn't hateful. If my comments offended anyone than i am sorry and i guess this site isn't a place for me. I just refuse to be a yes man and simply agree with whatever the excepted rhetoric is this week.
