    VIDEO - Meet the Beast!

I have been wanting to put this video together for some time and recently finally figured out a practical way to mount my video system, etc. So, here is the video I recently made about the Heckler and Koch MK23, the .45ACP beast! To my knowledge this is the largest semi-auto pistols issued in the US Armed Forces.

Right on thanks for the video. How many rounds is the muzzle O-ring supposed to last before it has to be replaced?

The O-rings have gone 10,000 rounds and longer.

Cool pistol to big for me but cool. I remember Sergeant major Grippe carried that pistol around in Kandhar in 2004. It looks small on him.

Yeah they are cool pistols, but I could just never justify the cost of one. Considering what I could get instead of ONE of those. I do want a USP tac though.

Also are those things still issued?

While not practicle for %99 of shooters the Mark 23 is still a cool gun and one I'd like to have if I ever start collecting guns. Great video.

Thanks, guys, for the comments. I can't remember why I bought it now, frankly.

I just saw it and had to have it. I picked it up used, for a pretty good price, so that mitigated the pain a bit, but yes, it is pricey.

I have pretty big hands and it feels great to me, but if I did not have big hands, it would be pretty uncomfortable, I'd imagine.

Thanks for the vid! Always thought it was a cool gun. I held a friends once and from then on I have called it the polymer Desert Eagle. It surely is a beast.

That's an interesting way of describing it, pretty much true. Thanks for watching!
