    These Damn Energy Drinks

I'm on a quest to consume better things in life and I wanna cut out monster, venom, etc

Cutting them out cold turkey isn't working. I get bad headaches and cloudy headed all day/night. What would any of you do get on a more healthy routine? I work all hours (I'm a freight train conductor) a lot of times I do need caffeine to stay awake for a 12 hr shift.

I lift weights and have noticed the preworkout drink "fast twitch" seems to fill the void of energy drinks. I cannot stand coffee btw.

Do energy drinks contain caffine? If so, then substitute Diet Coke to give your body it's caffine fix.
Winning may not be everything, but the endorsements are better.

Ya, Diet Coke is not really any better health wise, though it is cheaper. OP, there is a thread specifically on caffeine you should read. Will even suggests and links to a product that is a flavorless caffeine powder you can mix into your drink of choice.

    Black coffee.

Caffeine, no sugar or fake sugar, and cheap.

I think I'd have to drink 6 diet cokes to get the same amount of caffeine. My wife keeps trying to get me to drink coffee but thats one thing I just cannot take more than one drink of.

I am interested in that caffeine powder though. Whats it called and where can I get it?

Yes it does, but it also seems to give that somewhat uneasy running in mental circles feeling if taken too much. Not as bad a 3 or more cups of coffee will do though, and certainly steadier and longer lasting.

    This.

Switch to black coffee and then reduce the amount consumed throughout the day. Used to drink coffee all day, now just in the morning and tea in the afternoon. Stay away from sugar drinks, sweetener, and potions.

    Good luck.
