I have a USP 40c and with the regular mag base plate, my pinky is almost all the way on the grip. It's much better with he extended mag base plate and that's what I have on all of the mags for that gun.

I've shot the P2000 with the standard base plate and it was long enough such that all my fingers were able to grip the gun. I haven't handled a P30 yet.

Is there a gun shop near you that you can handle some of those pistols? Probably your best bet.

Never had a USP. I did have the P30 and P2000. I would go with the P30. Why not rent them to decide?

    Owned all three

The P2000 is HK's jack of all trades.

P30 if you're not going to use it for ccw

P2000 is an updated USPc. I find it relatively easy to carry, and the ergos a step above the USP. The P30 is the best feeling gun I have ever held, but will be harder to carry (larger and the grip texture will rub on your skin). If it will be primarily a carry gun, I would choose the P2000 in LEM.

I can just get a full grip on my USPc .40 with the flat mag base plates. The full sized USP has a larger frame I don't know how it compares with the P30 frame.

A Glock 19 is the absolute smallest grip I can deal with if that helps for reference.
Based on this, the P30 should be a good fit for you.

I am a bigger guy, but I carry a P30 with a TLR2-S in a raven. I have no issues. I do not tuck my shirt in though. I have friends that know I carry but have no idea where or how.

Just go to the store at start looking at people's waist bands to see if you can see if they are carring. You will soon see how weird it feels to look at people's waists. Not too many people are looking for a print on you, and if they are you can just make sure you wear shirts with patterns and not solid colors. I would get whichever gun you like best and then adapt your carry methods.

I have carried my PM45 and my P30 with the same success.

The P30 has interchangeable blackstrap and grip sides to custom fit it to your hand. It is a little long though.
