You've left out US Optics, Leica, Zeiss and Premiere in that price range. Keep on eye out for the soon to arrive Trijicon TARS family of scopes that should be on par with all of these excellent optics and offer ACOG durability.

Of the companies you listed, the only optic I could find with a magnification even close to that of the S&B was the U.S. Optics SN-9 10-42x. Trijicon didn't even come close, though I'm sure the TARS is a lovely scope. I'm looking for 40x-50x optics, and something that won't break at that.

The TARS line is just being announced, new models will follow the 3-15. All the models you've mentioned perform well but are built in a similar fashion and will thus have similar durability. The TARS line is built to ACOG standards so it might be worth waiting for.

Thanks for the heads up, I will keep an eye out for TARS updates!

What rifle is this going on? What is your max range available? Caliber? What loads are you to use? Do you know the stepped bc or g7 of your projectile and your mv? Also trijicon for the same price as s&b? No thanks.

Dude, search this guy's threads. Pretty obviously a teenager or maybe just an air softer.

Littlelebowski what is your beef? I'm on this forum to LEARN. I want to gain knowledge about firearms for when I make more serious purchases. Yes I own my share, and you have no right calling me out on basically every one of my posts. So what if I have some unorthodox theories and ideas? What gives you the right to call me names and such? If you don't have anything productive to say, go somewhere else and stop bothering me, because I'm actually learning a lot from the helpful people on this site.
