    "Propper" brand clothing

Has anyone tried the Propper brand of tactical clothing? Was looking at 5.11 pants, but came upon the Propper brand. It's less expensive, but doesn't offer as many pockets that 5.11 does. I don't need all those pockets anyway, but wonder about the quality. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not exactly high tech stuff but Ive never seen any of their pants fail unacceptably like some others... cough cough Blackhawk...

5.11, Tru-Spec, Propper, etc., none are very popular here and I generally agree with the consensus when they say dont cheap out and just buy some Carhartts. More durable and more grey man. I can spot a guy in any 5.11s 50 yards out, Carhartts... Maybe he just likes good pants.

Way off topic, but your comment reminded me of the time I was walking with a buddy who was proudly wearing his new 5.11's. As we passed a group of young street-smart guys, one of them said "All those pockets, gotta be a cop!"

I have a pair of Propper pants. I've worn them shooting and in multiple classes for the last year or two and they've held up surprisingly well. I have some other 5.11 pants that are great, but for the price, I think the Propper pants have held up just as well. I personally think they're good to go

I have a pair of Propper pants. They work fine and are very durable.
Then again I'm not sneaking past Illuminati check points.

I own 7 pairs of them.

I actually prefer them over the 5.11 pants.

They are pretty tough, and super comfortable.

The all seeing eye is the only thing that can spot multicam, so don't try sneaking into the bohemian grove.

I picked up several pair of Proper tactical type pants a few years ago during a sale when they were about $20 ea. I use them for work and they have lasted as well or better than the 5.11 version. They are a poly/cotton mix, hold the color better and don't have the stupid strap across the back pocket.
